Description
Wire Investigator provides support for activities in Commercial Operations with an emphasis on operational excellence and superior customer service. Operates effectively in a customer-oriented environment and works well in a team environment. The Wire Transfer Investigator must adhere to all internal risk policies as well as all federal and international laws and regulations all while providing exceptional customer service
Primary responsibilities include
- Create and resolve Wire and Real Time Payment Investigations received from various sources within the timeline required.
- Adhere to all REG E guidelines pertaining to Dodd Frank Wires.
- Answer Investigations related phone calls.
- Act as a central point of contact for wire related questions and investigations.
- Handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions within the time limits of the department
- Be a role model to drive customer service values and effective management of customer concerns and issue resolution.
- Proactively identify opportunities' for change which will add value to the business objectives and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Meet internal SLA’s, maintain a high diligence, maintain the ability to document clear and detailed comments regarding investigation results.
- Resolve findings through independent research, as well as direct interaction with external customers, department colleagues, and business partners with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials
- Competent use of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and SharePoint.
- Flexibility to work on a variety of cases and with multiple teams simultaneously.
- Adaptable self-thinker: Able to work through issues and escalate only as appropriate.
- Strong prioritization and problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
- Experience with working in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to interact with a diversity of professionals and staff members.
- Ability to achieve both immediate and long term goals.
- Knowledge of Domestic and International Wires Transfers preferred
- Banking experience preferred
- Associate's Degree or higher preferred
Hours & Work Schedule
- Hours: 40
- Work Schedule: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM, Monday - Friday
Role is based out of Johnston, training will occur in Riverside; once fully trained, will be hybrid, 3 days/week onsite in Johnston.
