Principal Alfresco Engineer/Administrator

Citizens Bank is seeking experienced and energetic software developers to join our Enterprise Platforms team and be part of our digital transformation journey. As a Principal Alfresco Engineer/Administrator, you will work closely with fellow technology and business colleagues to implement modern document management capabilities and enterprise grade API’s. Citizens is embarking on an exciting digital transformation journey that includes state-of-the-art web and mobile apps as well as APIs, AI and data driven products.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Be a core member of an agile team driving the latest development practices
• Participate in Architecture /Design,coding and automated test scripts
• Participate and lead product envisioning, design and development.
• Developing application code/ unit testing/FDD and BDD for  in Javascript, Java Technologies, and Rest based  Services.
• Conducting performance testing to ensure services are performing with the defined SLA
• Collaborate  with the Internal and external teams for architecture, security, design and development of robust applications for enterprise platforms
• Ensuring high performance of applications and providing support. Lead and mentor other junior engineering colleagues
• Collaborate and communicate across business and technology teams

Qualifications

Required Skills/Experience:

• 10+ years of software development experience
• Subject Matter Expert level knowledge and experience with Alfresco CMS tool 
• Proficient in Agile practices
• Programming Languages (Java, Alfresco CMS )
• Solid understanding and experience writing RESTful JSON-based APIs
• Experience working in AWS or Azure cloud environments
• Working knowledge of frameworks such as Angular.js
• Working knowledge of JavaScript testing frameworks.
• Working knowledge of bitbucket and other source code management platforms
• Experience interfacing with back-end applications using RESTful services, and JSON.
• Understands database concepts – proficient in writing relational database queries – MySQL
• Ability to develop functional, technical and user interface designs for an application that meets the defined requirements (business, system performance and standards)
• Experience in highly-secured online environments that use n-tier designs and extensive firewalling to enhance security.
• Strong desire to take on work in all skillsets
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science

Pay Transparency

The salary range for this position is $130,000- 180,000 per year, plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience.
