Citizens Financial Group, Inc. (CFG) seeks a Senior Software Engineer for its Johnston, RI location.

Duties: Responsible for complex development activities within the Salesforce org that is dedicated to our Mortgage business line. They will work as a senior member of a cross-functional pod to deliver both internal and client-facing solutions. This role requires deep technical knowledge of the Salesforce platform, excellent communication skills, a creative and curious mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The Senior Software Engineer will also act as a lead on strategic initiatives, including providing guidance, support, and knowledge sharing to more junior members of the development team.

Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field followed by five (5) years of progressive experience in the role or in a related field. Full term of experience must include: Designing and developing custom applications in Salesforce and extending standard Salesforce CRM offerings, including Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Force.com platform cloud, Lightning Platform, Customer Portals, and Communities; Maintaining and administering Salesforce instances and configuring standard Salesforce security using profiles, Roles, Sharing settings, field level security, permission sets, SSO setup, security setup, audit trails, field history, and page layouts; Customizing case management by creating Assignment rules, Auto response, escalation rules and Omni channel for routing cases; Configuring and integrating PagerDuty to manage on call schedules in Slack and Datadog; Facilitating integration between IVR System applications and Salesforce platforms to track incoming cases from phone; Developing SMS functionality by integrating Twilio and salesforce to send SMS notifications to customers; Developing presentation layers in Visualforce and business logic in the Apex Programming using classes, triggers, standard controllers, custom controllers, controller extensions, flows, and process builders; Utilizing Data Loader to insert, update, and bulk import or export of data on salesforce; Utilizing Atlassian tech stacks, including JIRA, Crucible, and Bitbucket to plan, assign, track, report, and manage work, review tickets against committed code, and manage repositories; Designing and developing Web Service applications using Restful Web Services; Utilizing CI/CD tools, including Jenkins, Copado to automate build processes and testing, perform continuous integration management, and to manage build results and deployment; Developing Visual force pages along with apex controllers to include new /modify existing functionality/business flow; and Utilizing App Exchange, Data Loader, and Java Script.
