Description

The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for development, implementation and maintenance of data-driven solutions to support strategic decision-making. This role involves working closely with various business partners to gather requirements, perform data analysis, and create insightful reports and dashboards.

Primary responsibilities include

  • Responsible for transforming data into easily understandable visualizations and reports that enable informed decision making and insights.
  • Manage end-to-end project lifecycles, from scoping and planning to execution and delivery
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to define requirements, KPIs, and success metrics for data initiatives.
  • Translate complex data insights into clear and actionable recommendations for leadership
  • Work with stakeholders to identify opportunities to enable efficient processes aligned with decision making that will be enabled through data products
  • Develop, implement, and maintain advanced BI dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau, Webfocus, Power BI. 
  • Design, build, and optimize Alteryx workflows to meet business requirements
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security in all BI activities.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline business processes and implement best practices.
  • Automate repetitive processes and enhance data processing efficiency.
  • Drive adoption of data-driven decision-making across teams through training and mentorship
  • Perform Exploratory and Ad-hoc Business Analysis to support key strategic insights
  • Document BI processes and procedures.

Qualifications, Education, Certifications 

  • Solid understanding of consumer banking/financial products and business processes
  • 7+ years of experience in data analysis, database management, or business intelligence. Strong data visualization skills using Tableau, Power BI, webfocus, or similar tools.
  • Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts and experience with Databases like Snowflake, Redshift.
  • Experience working with AWS cloud technologies (or equivalent cloud platforms).
  • Strong SQL knowledge is required.
  • Proficiency in ETL/ELT processes, data pipelines, and automation including low-code tools such as Alteryx.
  • Ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams with engineers, product managers, and business leaders.
  • Strong attention to detail, communicate clearly.
  • Data design or data management experience is a plus
  • Experience with Agile process is preferred
  • Experience with Python or R for advanced analytics  is preferred.
  • Familiarity with machine learning concepts and AI-driven analytics.
  • Certifications in data analytics, AWS, PMP, or are a plus
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data, or a similar technical field.
