Description
As a Senior Architect, you will be responsible for working across multiple technology domains to develop a solution and present the design. You will define best practices, methods, standards, and procedures for technology systems across accounting, properties, and procurement. This includes overseeing outputs and documenting internal processes and procedures. This role will require you to establish relationships with business partners to support project and technical solutions. Additionally, you will be responsible for providing deep technical knowledge and architectural design mentorship at a platform and portfolio level and will be a key contributing architect on large/complex projects with a variety of components. In this role, you will have the opportunity to present designs and ideas to an Architecture Review Board and Production readiness.
Responsibilities
Collaborate and lead other members of the delivery team (developers, testers, etc.), process owners and leadership to ensure that all elements of proposed solutions meet clearly defined standards.
Participate in code and design reviews with teams of software, network, and cloud engineers to ensure that solutions meet current enterprise standards; ensure the cybersecurity of proposed solutions.
Configure solutions that often have custom requirements recommending ways to streamline processes and create efficiencies while ensuring that architecture is consistent with enterprise architecture standards, guidelines, and principles.
Engage with upstream source owners to build technical mapping and sourcing documentation for development teams.
Performing long term trend analysis regarding the implementation of new technological solutions; analyze data gathered and produce reports.
Collaborate with external vendors to align products with enterprise standards.
Experience:
- Solid understanding of platform architecture, challenges and how delivery impacts end users
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Ansible, Git)
- Experience deploying applications to AWS, Azure, and OCI
- Ability to pull data often by creating complex queries using SQL and other query languages
- Development experience leveraging common frameworks such as Angular and Spring Boot
- Experience working in cross functional roles, business/data analysis, testing, architecture
- Ability to take high level business requirements and break them down into technical requirements
- Strong agile experience and understanding of Jira and Confluence
Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technology field.
