Position: Product Owner - B2B Connectivity

Job Summary:

Citizens Bank is on the lookout for a forward-thinking Platform Manager to lead our B2B Connectivity services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of a highly automated and standardized third-party connectivity model, allowing seamless integration between Citizens Bank, its customers, and business partners.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the strategic vision for automating and standardizing B2B connectivity across Citizens Bank.

Manage the portfolio of connectivity services including IPsec VPNs, MPLS, Equinix Fabric, and direct cross-connects.

Oversee the full product lifecycle from conceptualization, through development, to operational support and continuous improvement.

Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all aspects of point-to-point (PTP) connectivity solutions to our partners.

Maintain a clear and prioritized product backlog, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of product features and enhancements.

Collaborate with third-party vendors and business partners to develop robust and secure connectivity solutions.

Develop and communicate a comprehensive product roadmap that aligns with the bank’s business objectives and technology strategy.

Work closely with the routing and switching teams to ensure network infrastructure supports secure and reliable B2B communications.

Drive the adoption of Equinix Fabric services and manage cross-connects within data centers to enhance the connectivity framework.

Required Skills:

Expertise in IPsec VPNs, MPLS networks, BGP routing, and network switch configurations.

Proficient understanding of Equinix Fabric services and the management of cross-connects in a data center environment.

Strong background in developing and managing B2B connectivity solutions, preferably within the financial services industry.

Demonstrable experience in automating network connectivity and standardization processes.

Excellent project management skills, with experience in Agile or related methodologies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in network services, with a focus on B2B connectivity.

Relevant network certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CCIE) are advantageous.

Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and vendor relationships.

Pay Transparency 

The salary range for this position is $ 184,080 - $ 225,000 per year plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience.
