Description
The Head of Deposits Household Growth is responsible for driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, developing go-to-market strategies, and optimizing sales and marketing efforts. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure revenue targets are met while building sustainable relationships by optimizing both acquisition and retention efforts. This leadership role focuses on strategy development, marketing, and cross-functional collaboration to enhance the customer experience, optimize deposit portfolio performance, and achieve growth targets. This role will have a deep grounding in real-time data to understand impact of investments, teams and spend to drive real-time optimization and impact.
Primary responsibilities include:
Strategic Planning & Execution:
- Develop and implement data-driven strategies to drive revenue and household growth through both acquisition and retention strategies.
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and market trends
- Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy to grow deposit balances and expand the customer base.
- Identify market opportunities, trends, and competitor activities to inform campaign development.
- Lead a team to drive new initiatives to attract new households and cross-sell deposit products to existing customers through marketing and sales enablement
- Collaborate with marketing teams to design and execute targeted campaigns and promotions to drive growth.
- Monitor customer feedback and implement strategies to improve retention.
- Identify opportunities for innovation, digital tools, and partnerships to drive deposit and household growth.
- Stay informed on emerging financial technologies and trends in consumer banking.
Data Analysis & Performance Monitoring:
- Leverage analytics to assess deposit growth, account acquisition, customer behaviors and increase overall customer profitability
- Analyze customer data to identify key opportunities for product or service enhancements.
- Manage growth budgets and resources efficiently.
- Ensure initiatives are delivering a high return on investment.
- Conduct regular performance analysis to refine growth strategies
- Develop KPIs to track performance and provide actionable insights to executive leadership.
Collaboration & Leadership:
- Partner with retail banking and digital channels to equip frontline teams with tools, training, and resources to promote deposit products effectively.
- Lead cross-functional teams to align on growth objectives- including driving market to market strategy
- Act as a key liaison between retail banking, marketing management teams.
Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in retail banking, deposit product management, marketing or related areas, with a track record of driving deposit growth and customer acquisition.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in customer segmentation, campaign execution, and leveraging data-driven insights.
- In-depth understanding of regulatory requirements in deposit product management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to influence stakeholders at all levels.
