The Home Equity and Consumer Lending business is looking for an individual who can take a holistic view of our current Fair Lending and CRA programs, identify areas of improvement, manage associated change, and assess impacts in the development and modification of products and features for launch.  This individual will have direct accountability for overall Fair Lending and CRA results. In addition, the Product Manager will manage product governance activities including all governance forums, and related materials for boards and regulatory exams. 

Primary responsibilities include

  • Establishing and maintaining Fair Lending and CRA programs for Home Equity and Unsecured product lines
  • Creation and delivery of Fair Lending/CRA goals, including action plan management and performance metrics
  • Identifying potential fair lending impacts of business policies and practices and managing change to address
  • Work closely with business partners to assess Fair Lending impacts of campaigns, promotions, new product offerings, and enhancements
  • Develop monthly performance management routines and dashboards
  • Manage control forums including monthly product board 
  • Partner closely with leadership team across credit risk, fraud, pricing, and ED&A to ensure best-in-class capabilities and performance across the full spectrum of support functions
  • Analyze and use market data to develop strategic initiatives, programs and projects to improve performance

Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials

  • Knowledge of applicable federal and state fair lending and CRA regulations including but not limited to Equal Credit Opportunity Act, Fair Housing Act and the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act
  • 5 years relevant experience in Home Equity and Unsecured Lending industries
  • Experience with fair lending monitoring especially statistical analysis
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with internal and external partners
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Comfortable working in an agile environment, making key business decisions
  • Ability to articulate how changes in products will impact Fair Lending & CRA programs
  • Bachelor’s degree required

Hours & Work Schedule

  • Hours per Week: 40
  • Work Schedule: M-F 8:15 - 5:00
