Citizens Bank is seeking dynamic individual to join the Global Markets – Foreign Exchange (FX) team. The team helps clients reduce the impact of foreign exchange (FX) rate volatility on financial statements, forecasts, budgets, investments, dividends, inventory and cash flows.  The Associate will provide meaningful support across FX Sales and will further develop their understanding of Capital Markets and the macroeconomic impact of domestic and foreign policies and events on currency fluctuation as they evolve into a full account coverage role. 

Primary responsibilities include

  • Works in a highly collaborative, cross functional environment 
  • Create pitch books/presentations and other duties as assigned by Sales Marketers /Team Leader 
  • Financial modeling, back testing, and quantitative analytics 
  • Pricing and executing transactions and ensuring seamless transaction settlement
  • Demonstrates the ability to articulate market conditions to clients
  • Ownership of desk coverage and support for the FX Sales team
  • Assist the Sales Marketers in managing client relationships, including product inquires, valuation and audit requests
  • Partner with internal supporting functions including Operations for onboarding clients and resolving all operational inquires
  • Manage weekly distributions (including market updates and memos to Senior Management), deal tracking sheets/systems, Salesforce and pipeline activity, and project work as needed.

Qualifications

  • 2 - 4 years Prior Foreign Exchange-related work experience 
  • Experience with Bloomberg and multi-dealer FX platforms and strong competency with Microsoft office applications and Excel modeling
  • Demonstrates an ability to learn quickly, and actively pursues opportunities to develop skill sets and networks.
  • Displays excellent verbal and written communications and interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Price and execute live foreign exchange spot, forward, NDF, swap and option trades throughout the day
  • Ability to influence and drive complex initiatives and manage logistics with internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate on presentation materials for discussions with clients on currency risk management. Participate in client discussions 

Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials 

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Masters preferred

Hours & Work Schedule 

  • Hours per Week: 40
  • Work Schedule:  Monday - Friday
