Description
Obtains, organizes and analyzes market related information from internal and external sources.
Primary responsibilities include
- Collecting data regarding competitors' products, prices, sales, and methods of marketing, as well as methods and procedures for obtaining their data.
- Analyzing competitors' products, prices, sales, and methods of marketing to determine the advisability of adding new lines of merchandise and operations.
- Conducting opinion research to determine public support for additional product prospects or advertising.
- Interpreting data for marketing trends and reporting to management for new or potentially new product or service development.
