Janitorial Custodian - 1st Shift Floater

Description

The Janitorial Floater role within Real Estate Operations has responsibility for covering routine office cleaning and janitorial services within our Retail and back-office facilities when the janitorial technician is unable to perform these services. Other miscellaneous janitorial tasks are assigned to this role.

In this role you will be assigned janitorial work orders assigned by your direct line manager.

Primary Responsibilities Include: 

• Cleaning bank branches, ATMs and Kiosks (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning, etc.)
• Deep cleans/comfort cleans as assigned
• Window cleaning
• Spot cleaning carpets, floors. and upholstered furniture
• Clean outdoor ATMs, drive up windows and night deposit boxes
• Traveling to and from facilities within a designated radius
• Executing special projects when required
• Closing out work orders upon completion using Computerized Maintenance Management System via cellphone or computer access at facilities     
• Communicating in a pleasant and professional manner with internal Colleagues and external Customers
• Maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies, paper products, tools, and materials in vehicles 
• Responsibility for maintaining bank supplied vehicle and phone

Required Skills/Experience:

• 2 years’ experience in janitorial/cleaning role
• Proven customer service experience 
• Demonstrated written and verbal communications skills
• Ability to work under pressure with efficiency and accuracy
• Ability to plan and prioritize workload
• Ability to communicate in English, including reading and writing

Education and Other Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License 

Hours & Work Schedule

• Hours per Week: 40
• Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 5:30am - 2:00pm
• Locations: Newark, NJ and Piscataway, NJ
