Types of programs offered
- Non-Credit Educational Programs: Certifications, certificates, courses and bootcamps designed for adult learners who wants to enhance specific skills without enrolling in a full academic program at a university or college.
- For Credit Education Programs: Degrees, courses and certificates from accredited/approved institutions.

What can you study?
Educational Assistance helps you as you grow your skills and support Citizens business needs. For non-credit educational programs, there are specific topics approved: agile, leadership, business, AI, next generation technology, cybersecurity, digital innovation, data and analytics, environmental, social and governance, culture of inclusion, wealth, finance, risk, accounting and human resources.
Who is eligible?
You must have completed six months of Citizens employment before the start of the approved study.
What costs are covered?
We reimburse you for 100% of preapproved tuition, books and expenses up to annual limits as listed below, provided the colleague meets program requirements and successfully completes the approved program. Colleagues may participate in both for-credit education programs and non-credit education programs, under a shared cap amount.
