Citizens Financial Group, Inc. (CFG) seeks a Business Insights Senior Analyst for its Boston, MA location.

Duties: Develop and execute strategies to transform historical data into actionable insights with phased prioritization. Integrate internal business systems and transactional data with external data sources to create a full view of sourcing data across various lines of business. Cultivate and source new, unused data elements, such as data lake stage tables, vendor samples, and derived files from other analytics resources. Design workflows to transform data into usable formats and create automated reporting views in Tableau. Implement standards, processes, and best practices for data capture, integration, availability, quality, integrity, and compliance. Identify and maintain hierarchical waterfalls to prioritize data elements where multiple sources offer varying levels of quality and coverage. Automate data flows, ensuring efficient monitoring, quality control, and reliability across the organization. Collaborate on developing and implementing real-time, event-driven data build-out and integration into the enterprise intelligence universe. Prepare ad-hoc reports and analyses to support various management initiatives. Utilize statistical software packages and data mining techniques to address business challenges, identify opportunities for improvement, and support decision-making. Communicate analytical insights effectively by transforming complex data into clear, tailored narratives for various audiences. Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and conduct training sessions to drive the adoption of analytical reports and dashboards. Work with and implement new technologies to enhance organizational capabilities. Assist peers in migrating to new technologies seamlessly. Conduct training sessions to ensure successful adoption and utilization of new technologies.

Requirements: Master’s degree in Engineering Management or a STEM field focused on sourcing procurement and data analytics, and three (3) years of experience in the role or in a related position. Full term of experience must include: Performing Microsoft SQL and Oracle Relational Database Management; Performing data visualization using Tableau and Power BI; Utilizing programming languages, including Python and R; Performing statistical analysis and data mining to draw insights, improve decision making, conduct risk management, and ensure compliance and efficiency; Utilizing cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform, to integrate data; Utilizing ETL pipelines to clean and process data for visualization in BI platforms, including Tableau; Advanced Microsoft Excel, including Power Query, Power Pivot, macros, and VBA to integrate with cloud based data and BI solutions; Agile Tools, including JIRA to manage project lifecycles and conduct workflow management; ETL Tools, including Alteryx, to process, analyze, and automate workflows using data stored in Data Lakes; and ERP Software including, SAP Ariba, Microsoft AX, to land data onto the cloud and integrate with BI tools.
