We are currently seeking a talented versatile colleague to join Citizens Bank as a Product Manager in the Personal Loan group.The role requires an individual with a strong combination of strategic thinking and project management experience, combined with an analytical mindset.The individual must have strong partnership skills with groups such as Credit Risk, Pricing & Profitability, Marketing, Technology, Legal, Risk, and Compliance, and will use those relationships to build a solid foundation for product enhancements.

The person entering this role must have a keen eye on profitability and how to maximize loan revenue while keeping the customer experience at the core of all decisions.They must be able to analyze data and trends to find underlying drivers, and work with partner groups to drive business decisions to improve financial performance. This may include enhancements to pricing or credit functions, loan application processes, or operational components to create efficiencies.

Examples of scope of responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with pricing and credit risk teams to monitor trends within customer segments to identify risk and ensure pricing is aligned with front book origination profiles
  • Lead cross-functional teams of business line partners to execute projects and initiatives focused on creating a more profitable product
  • Meet with senior retail leadership to drive results by delivering and updating presentations on profitability of both front-book originations and overall portfolios
  • Review and analysis of Tableau reporting on credit and originations trends to uncover opportunities to improve financial performance
  • Driving expense-centric projects through vendors and automation to reduce overall cost basis for origination and servicing
  • Documentation of requirements for new initiatives such as risk-based model implementation

Success in this role will be found through creation of strong partnerships with partner lines of business, successful project implementations, and improving overall portfolio profitability.The colleague must be proactive in their approach, comfortable with discussions at all levels of the organization, able to manage multiple priorities, and able to work well with internal departments to drive success.The individual will be able to translate product and industry trends to support sales goals and reduce friction in the loan process at each step.They must be aware of compliance and regulatory requirements and keep in line with risk expectations at all times.

·5+ years Financial Services Sales, Consumer Lending or FinTech experience preferred

Hours and Work Schedule

Hours per Week: 40

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
