  • General administrative functions (scanning, filing, faxing and copying)
  • Filing of tax materials, brokerage statements and client files
  • Scanning of e-file authorization forms, tax returns and other tax documents
  • Email weekly/bi-monthly tax publications to Tax Department
  • Setup of client files when new tax information is received
  • Prepare correspondence; faxes and any back up information from tax files
  • Prepare client billings
  • Process, collate and send tax returns to client
  • Prepare basic tax forms
  • Assist in preparation of tax organizers and engagement letters for tax clients
  • Prepare next year tax files
  • Provide administrative and tracking support during busy tax seasons
  • Assist in the preparation of any tax dept seminars/classes, as well as maintain scanned folder of hand-out materials
  • Prepare FedEx and certified USPS mailings


Minimum Required:

Excellent computer skills – Microsoft 365 and Adobe, with the ability to learn new programs

Must be highly organized and detail oriented                                                                                                          

Strong ability to follow instructions                                                                                                                            

A demonstrated ability to multi-task and handle competing priorities                                                

Ability to work with a team and independently to accomplish department goals, as well as come up with more efficient processes                                                                                                                   

OT required, especially during busy tax seasons (2/15-4/15 and Labor Day-10/15)                

Restrictions on vacation time during busy tax seasons


Working knowledge of CCH Axcess tax software and Practice CS (will be trained)

2 years prior experience with CPA environment and tax process preferred
