Senior Commercial Loan Specialist

The Collateral Monitoring team monitors all collateral for Citizens Commercial and Business Banking Loan Portfolios. As a member of the team, you will be responsible for learning each of the five types of collateral we monitor for perfection purposes and to ensure they are kept active and clear of negative impacts to the bank. The ability to multi-task and keep up with targeted daily volumes and work in a fast paced, high volume, and deadline-controlled environment is a key element in this department. The processes reviewed can be repetitive, multifaceted and may require routine decision-making abilities. Having knowledge and/or experience within lending, operations, or collateral is helpful.

The candidate would be expected to consistently complete scheduled daily tasks accurately, and in compliance with the bank’s policies and procedures. Efforts must consistently be focused to proactively meet and exceed the needs of our customers. Attention to detail is a must in order to recognize and respond to shifting priorities, all while maintaining accuracy and progress of assigned workload.

Qualifications

Required Skills/Experience

• High School or Equivalent required, Associates/Bachelor Degree preferred

• 3 years of experience in operations or lending OR a Bachelor’s Degree in a Business related field

• Proficient with Microsoft Programs, specifically Excel

• Ability to multitask with effective and proficient communication 

• Able to work with a sense of urgency

• Familiar with Commercial Banking and Collateral Management

Hours and Work Schedule

Hours per Week:  40 hours a week

Work Schedule:  8:30 to 5:00
