The responsibilities of the Home Mortgage Processing Manager include:
Manage the workflow of FHA, VA, CTP, Conventional and Portfolio loan products
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and adherence to investor guidelines
Provide leadership and promote teamwork and professionalism with the team
Develop the skills of the processing team and managing the workflow for processing, underwriting, and closing
Manage, hire, coach and train the processing team
Work closely with Product Development and Secondary Marketing to incorporate program changes into production by maintaining up-to-date procedures and ensuring adequate training for the entire team
Coordinate training with external sources when appropriate
Closely monitor adherence to program guidelines and bank policies and provide performance feedback to the processors
Implement strategies to manage productivity and turn times to meet or exceed production service level requirements for the entire team
Assist senior management in meeting corporate goals and objectives
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience
7 plus years’ residential mortgage experience with Conventional, Construction Perm, FHA and VA loans
5 years plus management experience preferred
Expert knowledge of government and bank regulations, policies and procedures
Demonstrated ability to deliver high customer service with both internal and external customers
Strong organizational skills
Strong Construction Perm experience preferred
Hours & Work Schedule
Hours per Week: 40
Work Schedule: 8:00AM-5:00PM
