  • The Investment Manager is responsible to meet with the firm's prospects and clients to articulate Clarfeld I Citizens Private Wealth’s investment views, portfolio positioning, strategic asset allocation decisions, tactical investment trades and reallocations as well as macroeconomic viewpoints and industry updates.  In addition, he or she should be well versed in the firm’s market views, overall investment outlook and strategic asset allocation.  Furthermore, the candidate should possess a high proficiency and understanding of the firm’s current investments; inclusive of process, strategy, underlying portfolio characteristics, current & historical performance and ongoing market and asset class developments.

  • Investment Managers will also play a critical role in assisting Private Wealth Advisors and Wealth Advisors in the generation of new business opportunities for the firm.  The chief focus will be on development of investment management and corresponding AUM opportunities, in addition to providing issue recognition on other wealth advisory opportunities, including; Financial Planning, Trust & Estate Advisory, Tax Compliance and Planning, Risk Management and Insurance, Wealth Concierge and Cash Management, Deposit & Lending, and Trustee Services.  Investment Managers will ensure the appropriate client solutions are being delivered in a client-facing capacity, leading presentations as the development of the necessary proposal materials to support ongoing discussions.  Investment Managers will be held accountable to quarterly and annual AUM growth objectives that correspond to the broader objectives of the firm.

  • The role will require mentorship of other client facing members of the team as well as the transmission of the best-thinking and thought leadership of the Investment Policy Committee, monitoring the proper delivery of the firm’s value proposition within the field.  In addition to this responsibility, the Investment Manager will be responsible for client servicing of all investment clients currently assigned to their oversight, providing necessary asset allocation, portfolio trading, market insights to clients.  This also lends itself to ongoing client meetings and conversations to review investment performance and compliance to current investment objectives and necessary policy statement provisions.


  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 10-15 Years of related investment experience
  • Experience in client facing roles
  • CFA Charterholder; CFP Designation and/or desire to pursue credential preferred
  • Experience at top tier investment firm preferred Preferred:
  • Seasoned investment professional focused on delivering exceptional client service
  • Desire to drive exceptional outcomes with results orientation and attention to detail
  • Record of success as a self-starter capable of taking a leadership roles
  • Team-orientation with strong ability to multi-task and manage time appropriately
  • High emotional intelligence and appreciation for diversity of though
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
