Description

The objective of the Vendor Management Analyst is to independently manage the vendor relationship and Third Party vendor oversight through the on-boarding / off-boarding process, business line specific issue resolution and periodic reviews. This individual will help ensure that contract and Statements of Work service levels for assigned third parties are adhered to both from an operational and regulatory standpoint.

This role will operate within Consumer Specialty Operations Vendor / Agency Management and the primary responsibilities will include (but will not be limited to):

  • Hold vendor / agencies accountable for delivery of back office deliverables including customer complaints, monthly reporting, and various other key deliverables
  • Capture and Review Third Party scorecards prepared by Data Management and Reporting used for Service Level Agreement dashboards
  • Manage the coordination of periodic vendor business reviews as defined in policies and procedures
  • Acting as point of escalation for issues identified by the Operations Vendor Management Office or other assessment groups
  • Develop and create monthly vendor program level scorecards
  • Manage vendor and account activity inside of Debt Next
  • Assist the vendors in resolving account balance discrepancies and other account research
  • Advising and assisting in resolving ORC issues as needed
  • Facilitating discussions in the resolution of performance, risk and compliance issues identified during monthly Service Level Agreement reviews and site visits
  • Act as point of contact to external vendors on all aspects of debt collections
  • Complete minimum account resolution, FDCPA compliance, settlement adhereance, and other necessary testing on vendor account activity

Qualifications

Required Skills/Experience: 

  • 1 or more years of relevant Third Party Management exposure and/or experience
  • 1 or more years of relevant testing exposure and/or experience 
  • 1 year experience in analyzing and communicating testing results and metrics to a Third Party vendor
  • Willingness to travel as required 
  • Working  knowledge of Consumer and Commercial Regulations
  • Ability to assess, identify and mitigate risk issues early in the process, including the proper allocation and management of such risks.
  • Strong organizational, communication and planning  skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact with project teams and multiple departments and vendors to achieve project objectives
  • Proficiency with MS Office skills including MS Word, MS Power Point, and MS Excel
  • Ability to perform in a high paced environment and meet monthly operational goals and Service Level Agreements
  • Ability to plan and prioritize workload
  • Make independent decisions and exercise sound judgment
  • Ability to communicate  and drive results

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • 3 years of experience Banking/Collection/Vendor Management 

Education

Bachelor degree in business or a related technical field preferred

Hours per Week:   40
Work Schedule:    Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM
