The Operational Risk Methodology Manager will be responsible for maintaining the bank’s Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) program. The candidate will work with business partners in first- and second-line risk functions across all major divisions to ensure that assessments are accurately produced to make risk-based decisions. The role will require analysis and reporting on risk assessments to inform internal and external stakeholders. 

In addition, the Manager will participate in special projects and support other programs within the Operational Risk Methodology portfolio (Operational Loss and Issues/Findings Management). 

Primary responsibilities include: 

  • Update/maintain RCSA methodology (including related guidance and training documentation)
  • Support Business Lines with the RCSA methodology and overall assessment process in GRC tool
  • Maintain GRC tool RCSA module, including approving user access requests and supporting module enhancements (which will entail working with technology partners on business requirements)
  • Own monthly Enterprise Risk Appetite Metric reporting. Input metrics in GRC, providing commentary around limit breaches.
  • Produce commentary for inclusion in Monthly Risk Committee Reporting and Quarterly Risk Opinion

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience within the banking industry, risk consulting, financial services, and/or regulatory agency
  • Operational Risk Management experience
  • RCSA experience
  • Familiarity with GRC tools (RSA Archer preferred)
  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical capabilities to provide data-centric insights
  • Excellent communication skills and experience producing high-quality materials for management consumption

Education::

  • Bachelor's degree required

Hours & Work Schedule: Hybrid 3 days in the office/2 remote

  • Hours per Week: 40
  • Work Schedule: Monday-Friday
