Head of Virtual and Emerging Payments

Citizens Bank is seeking a Head of Virtual and Emerging Payments responsible for driving the Enterprise Payments strategy as well as managing the money movement products for the digital organization. The ideal leader has experience setting and executing strategies along with proven track record of driving change and innovation in a matrixed organization. In this role, you will lead and develop a high functioning team to drive the product vision for our digital money movement products. Other responsibilities include:

  • Lead the Enterprise Payments Council to drive the strategic vision across Commercial and Consumer
  • Make recommendations on change agenda, resource and technology requirements to support the strategic agenda
  • Maintain and grow a deep knowledge of the Payments landscape and continuous change to consumer expectations
  • Communicate strategic vision to executive committee and ability to influence others
  • Create strong relationships with key stakeholders to drive cross line of business collaboration, the appropriate level of awareness, knowledge, buy-in on strategic initiatives
  • Lead the product management group responsible for the digital money movement products which includes but is not limited to Bill Pay, Zelle, and money transfers 
  • Assist in creating a robust product management framework that creates a product P&L, appropriate product management practice with stakeholder and drive the product roadmap
  • Drive collaborative innovation amongst the organization to identify unique solutions to complex problems
  • Manage large vendor relationships to ensure alignment with strategic vision and organizational objectives

Qualifications

Required Skills/Experience:

  • 7-10 years of Product Management experience
  • 7+ years leadership experience developing and leading high performing teams
  • Proven ability to establish clear priorities and execute in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong ability to work well cross-functionally on a personal level with executives and individual team members
  • Pro-active, independent thinker with high energy/positive attitude

Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials:

  • Bachelor’s Degree BA/BS, MBA preferred
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner

Hours and Work Schedule

Hours per Week: 40

Work Schedule: 8:00am – 5:00pm; Monday - Friday
