Description

The Technology Senior Risk Manager partners with key business and IT stakeholders to provide oversight of strategic business initiatives governed under the Agile methodology. The Senior Risk Manager will operate as a Risk Generalist within the bank’s First Line of Defense and be responsible for identifying and mitigating risks, with a technology focus, for new product/service initiatives throughout the Enterprise. The Senior Risk Manager will assess key Enterprise initiatives to verify that risks and controls are appropriately identified, assessed and documented through the completion of risk assessments and via the engagement of key process owners and subject matter experts throughout the Agile delivery lifecycle.   

  • Serves as a liaison, interfacing with product/service Experience Owners, Neighborhood Leads, and business partners to drive risk mitigation. Responsible for identifying controls and evaluating the design and operating effectiveness of those controls.
  • The Senior Risk Manager will liaise with business management and other risk leaders to identify, assess and report on critical business risks, taking into consideration the Enterprises’ potential exposure.
  • Responsible for maintaining, aggregating, and analyzing initiative risk assessment results to present the risk profiles to Town and Divisional executive management.  

Qualifications:

  • 5 -7 years of Risk Management experience within the financial services industry, preferably in Technology, Information Security, Data Management and/or risk and compliance.
  • Enterprise Change Framework experience, encompassing all enterprise delivery channels.
  • Experience with Agile ways of working and related tools: Confluence, JIRA, etc.
  • Advanced knowledge of internal controls and risk and control assessments
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization with strong influencing, negotiating and analytical skills
  • Strong business writing skills
  • Project management skills to support multiple complex assignments
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite 

 Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Master’s Degree preferred

Certifications Preferred:

  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
  • Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
  • Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)

Hours and Work Schedule

Hours per Week: 40

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday

The salary range for this position is $100k-150k, plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience.
