This position will be responsible for analysis, management and quality for Enterprise Data sources. It requires a highly technical, skilled and motivated professional who can efficiently maintain and perform data quality analysis and data validation including design and implementation of controls, validation and reconciliation processes across Enterprise Data such as Customer, Product, Financial, and Employee critical data. Strong background in designing and implementing data strategy frameworks. Experience with Master Data Management (MDM) solutions and concepts, including data modeling, data integration, match and merge, data quality and enrichment, stewardship and governance process. Ability to deliver innovative data strategy solutions leveraging machine learning, neural networks and/or other techniques. Significant experience in process improvement and re-engineering. Strong relationship skills to interact with Business Data Champions and executive management. The position will work within the overall Data Management and Analytics function with the purpose to enable data as a valued asset across the enterprise with specific focus on reliability and quality of enterprise data.

  • Develop standards and build analytics for establishing, monitoring and reporting data quality health at an enterprise level for the Bank. Responsible for tool implementation and maintenance needed to perform quality processes. Provide analysis of complex data issues, root cause analysis and resolution. Define and develop foundational procedures and technical solutions to ensure successful execution of the Data Quality Framework.
  • Lead issue resolution and impact analysis processes to identify any upstream/downstream implications as it relates to enterprise data changes. Define and execute test cases to ensure data integrity and changes are effectively implemented.
  • Lead the effort and document business and technical requirements as needed to implement systematic controls, reconciliation and validation processes.
  • Design and implement reporting for ongoing monitoring and performance of data quality metrics across enterprise data.
  • Develop innovative approaches to managing Enterprise Data through process design, improvement and reengineering.

Supervisory responsibilities:

  • Indirect Reports: Business Lines and data governance working group members -- tactical
  • External & Vendor Relationships: Data Tool Vendors -- tactical, IT and 3rd Party Vendors for IT Solutions -- tactical


  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar
  • Data profiling, data validation role or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Master data management/data quality managing the data lifecycle with specific focus on data quality practices and data issues management/root cause analysis
  • Attention to detail and meticulous approach to work
  • BI tools experience
  • Strong knowledge of bank products, processes and business practice
  • Strong analytical skills/problems solving
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate with business lines and senior management both in verbal and written form

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience implementing a Data Quality Best Practices
  • Experience implementing and managing Data Quality tools such as Global ID, Informatica, Collibra, SAS, etc.
  • Data Lake governance
  • Experience in deploying and managing data involving mapping, lineage and reporting
  • Experience with Artificial Intelligence
  • SFDC experience
  • nCino experience
