This position is in charge of reviewing legal documents for accuracy and making any necessary corrections in a timely and accurate manner. Essential functions include:

  • Review, audit and retrieve Mortgages/Deed of Trusts.
  • Review, audit and retrieve Title Policies.
  • Initiate steps to have documentation errors corrected.
  • Partake in MERS training – understanding of basic knowledge of MER


  • 1+ years of experience in final documents, loan servicing, title company or working for a

    real estate attorney.

    MERS knowledge preferred.

    Housing Authority/Agency experience preferred.

    High school diploma or GED, or equivalent relevant work experience.

    Excellent data entry skills.

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

    Strong analytical skills, with attention to detail.

    Excellent critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.

    Strong customer service skills.

    Ability to work independently and with a team.

    Ability to prioritize multiple projects with specific deadlines.

    Ability to interact with all levels of individuals, both internal and external.

    Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with low tolerance for error.

    Regular in-person attendance.

    Must demonstrate commitment, dependability and respect for other employees with regular attendance, punctuality and adherence to agreed-upon schedule.

    Hours & Work Schedule

    Hours per Week:  40
    Work Schedule:  08:00 am to 05:00 pm
