The Manager - Capital Management will be a key member of the Stress Testing and Analytics team in Capital Management at CFG, responsible for managing end-to-end assumption development, financial forecasting, and results analysis to support the Company’s stress testing program.

The Manager – Capital Management will:

  • Manage key aspects of the stress testing production process utilizing the QRM platform.
  • Serve as a QRM power user and identify enhancements to core processes/functionality with the goal of reducing processing time, improving the controls environment, and ensuring seamless delivery of stress test results.
  • Liaise with business partners across Risk and Finance to develop key assumptions and financial projections, provide effective challenge to Line of Business results and analyze key variance drivers between various scenarios.
  • Work cross-functionally to generate PPNR assumptions to support the bank’s annual capital planning and quarterly stress testing processes.
  • Analyze and synthesize stress test results in order to provide senior management and the Board with key insights into CFG’s financial performance and risks under various scenarios.
  • Conduct attribution and sensitivity analysis of modeled outcomes and the impacts to financial results.
  • Perform peer analysis of Fed-published CCAR results and identify emerging trends in the Fed’s modeling of PPNR and Credit results.
  • Complete ad-hoc analyses to support management recommendations and decisions.


  • 5+ years previous experience as a Financial or Business Analyst in a top tier financial institution.
  • Strong background in financial analysis.
  • Experience with QRM modeling and production.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of CCAR stress testing and regulatory capital.
  • Intellectual curiosity and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-focused, self-starter with ability to work through issues and escalate when appropriate.
  • Ability to coordinate tasks with colleagues across different areas.


  • Bachelor’s Degree required

  • Hours per Week: 40 Hours
  • Work Schedule: Monday through Friday
