Data Program Project Alignment Manager (Work at Home)

Description

The Data Program Project Alignment Manager role is a leader within the Project Management Office (PMO) and reports to the PMO Director.The Manager is in charge of creating project/program alignment to the Data Strategy where-by the projects/ programs appropriately incorporate the foundational components (e.g., Sourcing/Data Stores, MDM, Data Dictionary) and has been realistically estimated and funded.

  • Defines, leads, and manages all aspects of the project, scope, budget, financial forecasting, scheduling, resources, and quality control of work products following company’s PMO standards and governance guidelines and project management best practices.
  • Directly engaging and working with Technology Services(TS) and Line of Business(LOB) / Function projects and strategic programs (e.g., CCAR)
  • Establish and refine existing checkpoints (e.g., system and data architecture reviews) for projects that include inspection of projects that fall within the Data Strategy “guideposts” and policies and standards
  • Complies with enterprise project management standards and contributes to their incremental improvement.

Qualifications

  • 3 or more years of project management experience and demonstrated success

  • Must have previous experience in: Information technology and information systems, Banking, Business and data analysis, Business process management, and business process innovation and improvement

  • Formal training in project or program management

  • Demonstrated ability to execute complex projects within budget and on time

  • Must possess strong interpersonal, organizational, team building, mentoring, and communication (written and verbal) skills

  • Ability to communicate concisely and briefly

  • Ability to build relationships at all levels of the enterprise and with external vendors

  • Ability to work independently and with minimum direction

  • Ability to multi-task and respond to with multiple priorities

  • Expert in MS Office, MS Visio, and MS Project

Must be able to travel as position requires


Education:

  • Must have a bachelor’s degree or higher, ideally in Information Systems Management, Finance, Management or related field

Hours per Week:  40

Work Schedule:  Monday through Friday 8:00-5:00
