As an analyst in the Capital Markets and Corporate Finance Program, you will build a foundational knowledge of capital markets skills through extensive classroom training and working closely with the team's senior professionals. Completion of this program will give you exposure to a wide range of industries and a transferable skillset to help you grow a rewarding career.
PROGRAM FEATURES
- Boston, MA and Charlotte, NC locations
- 8-10 weeks classroom work with the Commercial Banking Development Program
- Structured in-house Capital Markets & Corporate Finance specific training covering pitchbook basics, legal documentation, financial modeling etc.
- Project example: Support debt capital markets transactions from origination to closing
- Unique volunteer events, networking events and business competitions that offer exposure
to our customers, community and executives
EARLY CAREER PROGRAM ACTIVITIES
- 2-day orientation in downtown Boston with all bank-wide Early Career Development Program colleagues
- Branch and customer site visits (such as the Harpoon Brewery)
- Dedicated community service activities with your peers
- Early Career Program development days
- Several development/training days, where executives in the bank will speak to you
about high-level banking operations and offer advice on how to succeed

CAREER PATH
- Depending on your performance and the need of the business, you will have opportunities such as:
- Full-time analyst with promotion to Associate
- Internal mobility within Citizens, including Syndicate Trading Desk
and Corporate Finance Coverage Roles - Buyside opportunities, either as an Associate in Private Equity or an
Investment Analyst at a Hedge Fund - Transferable skillset applicable to a wide range of exit opportunities
