Portfolio Manager - Corporate Credit Securitization Loan

Responsibilities:

  • Credit risk evaluation of Corporate Credit Securitization Loan (CCSL) facilities, post close, including:
    • Monitoring, measuring and reporting on the performance of each CCSL facility assigned to the role through the production of Annual Reviews, bi-annual business reviews and periodic updates as performance of a transaction warrants.
    • Responsible for detecting underperformance and formulating a view on appropriate action steps, both internally and with the client.
    • Monitoring facility utilization, draws and paydowns 
    • Tracking, reviewing and analyzing monthly servicer reports; follow up on any late reports, errors, or other administrative issues
    • Preparation and delivery of monthly reporting for the CCSL portfolio, including deal specific analysis and commentary on performance, covenant compliance and other transaction metrics
    • Create and maintain a standard surveillance report for each transaction that captures relevant data and triggers
    • Evaluate, interpret and provide key inputs and calculations to Regulatory Capital team for regulatory reporting purposes, on a monthly basis.
    • Coordinate the review of any transaction with the Asset Approval and Review team to ensure underlying collateral is appropriately valued
  • Timely communication of transaction activity and performance to key internal and external constituents
  • Assist with the closing/management of transactions, including working with the origination team, credit and operations
  • Ensure CCSLs are captured properly in Citizens’ systems and downstream reporting
  • Update existing credit proposals in connection with annual reviews and renewals 
  • Participate in client diligence sessions, as appropriate

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of demonstrated prior experience with non-mortgage asset-backed securitization credit facilities.  CLO experience and familiarity with the Private Credit/Direct Lender market is preferred.
  • Ability to review and interpret transaction documents and analyze multiple types of deal structures (revolving, static, term, CLO, agent approval)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to synthesize large amounts of data and information into a cohesive explanation to all internal constituents
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Bloomberg.  PowerBI proficiency a plus
  • Strong organizational and time management skills required
  • Requires collaborative approach among many internal teams

Hours per Week:  40

Work Schedule:  Monday - Friday
